Andover Swimming & Water Polo Club 400m Championships 2011

(Held under ASA Laws and ASA Technical Rules of Racing)

VENUE:	Andover Leisure Centre
TIMING:	Manual timing will be used, with heat declared winners.
DATE:	Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July 2011

EVENTS:	Saturday	Female – IM Male – IM	Sunday	Female – Freestyle Male – Freestyle
ELIGIBILITY:	These Championships are open to all swimmers who are fully paid up members of the Andover Swimming and Water Polo Club and can manage 16 lengths of any one of the above strokes. You may enter for both strokes but if you feel you can only manage one stroke then enter the one in which you feel proficient.
	Trophies and medals are awarded to four groups for each stroke as follows: Open Ladies and U/14 Girls Open Men's and U/14 Boys
	Medals will be awarded as follows:
	U/14	Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the three fastest swimmers in each stroke for the U/14s.
	Open	Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the three fastest swimmers overall in each stroke from either age group.
ENTRY:	All entries must be on the standard entry form accompanied by an entry fee, if applicable.
PROCEDURES:	Collect entry forms from the Leisure Centre notice board (or download a copy) and return with entry fee to return with entry fee to Betsy, Glen or Cheryl on or before 28 June 2011
ENTRY FEE:	£4.00 for each event. Cheques please - made payable to Andover Swimming and Water Polo Club
CLOSING DATE:	Tuesday 28 June 2011

Competitors will be seeded by age/ability, wherever possible.

Any withdrawal must be notified to the Referee or me before the start time.

Any competitor failing to notify of withdrawal within 15 minutes of the start, at the discretion of the Referee will be deemed to have withdrawn from all other events in the Championships.

Withdrawal for medical reasons accepted.

Swimmers who have won Trophies at previous 400m Championships are requested to return them to the Front Desk by Monday evening by Monday 4th July 2011.
